Hello All!!
So May is under way now. It seems like this year just start and now it flying by!! Its hard think that this time last year I was just in school working on my way to become a hairstylist.
Well it the past three weeks I have said goodbye to my brown red hair and gone always the way blue!! Lighten my hair had to be the longest processes ever!! I took putting the lightener on 4 times!!! My hair was holding hard on to the red it would not come up. It finally was the last time we put it on for the red to finally go to a yellow orange that I need to get the blue I needed and wanted!!
Now getting the blue I wanted was another problem. I used Ion Brights Shark Blue, got it from Sally Beauty Supply. The first time I put it on the color was great however the hue was not right. It was to light for the look I was going. So I left my hair alone for a day, then I put the second tube of color on and left it on 45 min. Finally after 4 hours of lightening and coloring I finally got my hair to the blue I was looking for and hoping for finally!!
For the care of my hair I have been using Sebastian Drench Shampoo and Conditioner every 4 days shampooing in cold water as cold as I can stand it. For in between shampooing I have been using a dry shampoo the one I have been liking is Not your mothers Dry Shampoo and once a every 8 days I use a hair mask Sebastian Penetrate Deep Conditioner I leave it in for 6 minutes then rinse it out and let my hair air dry.
So thats the story of how I got my blue hair!!! I love it! Let me know about your hair color stories!!!
